The Express Bag System was created after countless visits and numerous wasted hours standing in checkout lines in grocery stores. Having developed systems and procedures in a number of businesses, a careful study with each visit was begun about 4-5 years ago. With limited funds and a determined idea and over a dozen prototypes the first bags were developed. As in many cases it was an idea before it’s time, as the concept of reusable bags was not in the mindset of the general public. The Patent process and searches took a considerable amount of time and were filed and are in pending status. Additional patents on applications and procedures have also been filed for additional options and future releases.
