Customers slip those loops onto special brackets on the Express Bag System’s cart. Customers then place shopped items directly into the bags. Thus, Express Bag System’s carts have no basket, making them less attractive to theft.

    The Express Bag System has the answer. We provide a (Pat.Pend.) bag that is reusable and has a serial (bar-coded) number that can be linked to your customer.

    BASKET COSTS can be eliminated by the level of sponsorship by vendors of the Express Bags. costs can be offset by vendor sponsorship/advertising and the use of a FLEX COUPON™. We have a program where enough bags can reduce the cost of the "basket" to "Zero." The theft rate of the carts is also reduced as there is no "basket." The lack of the basket takes away the typical "landscape tool cart" "apartment maintenance buggy" and can collection vessel.

    SACKING LABOR costs are eliminated on Express Bag utilization as no Sacker is necessary. Each item scanned is just placed back in an adjoining bag. The steps of movement after scanning, downstream conveyor or carousel and sacking are no longer needed.

    CHECKER COSTS can be reduced to a simple handheld scanner with thermal printer and card swipe. Verification of purchases are made by the "Greeter" at the entry/exit position. The need will still exist for some conventional "checkout" positions, however in peak "Express" need times nearly any floor personnel can be trained to operate a hand scanner and the wait times and efficiency of "checkout" is dramatically increased.
